What do you think of when this word comes to mind? Retaliate against what exactly? Good? Evil? Who is to say what is good and what is evil? Is the human qualified to decide? I mean we aren’t perfect, but who is right? Sure, we can decide that, well maybe some people. I think I am a pretty good person, I think I could judge somewhat fairly. Wrong. How can a person born into such a corrupt world know when something is good and evil, couldn’t there have been some messed up discernment along the crazy path of life? We aren’t perfect so our judgement will never be perfect that’s why we need the Bible to help us discern what is good and what is evil, what is wrong and what is right. So before you go all crazy with your political argument or go to strike and protest make sure it is in a way that pleases the Father and make sure your argument is good and right according to His standards, cause His standards are perfect and pure. For He is all that is good in this world, He is the source of all that is righteous.
James 1:17
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
