Give it

If God asked you to give it up, would you?  Abraham did, and so did God!  

It is so easy to become attatched to things.  Your Ipad, designer bag, car etc.  But if God asked you to sell it tomorrow would you?  Abraham almost sacraficed his most prized possession in his life, his son Issac. (Genesis 22).  He went through a lot to finally have a son, so I am sure God threw Abraham off when He asked to sacrifice his only son!  If you know the story, you would know Abraham didn't sacrifice his son because God stopped Him, He wanted to make sure Abraham's heart was willing.  Are you willing to listen?  I mean God gave His only son for you, I don’t think anything He asks of me will be too much compared to Jesus. Don’t be attached to the things of this world!

1 John 2:15-17

15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father[a] is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
