Tide to go

Don’t leave your house without your Tide to Go

If my friends had to describe me in a few words I am pretty sure “clumsy” would be one of them.  At my school we are required to wear uniform, and luckily for me a white shirt is mandatory.  This isn’t the best option for a clumsy person. So my parents knowing how clumsy their daughter is, bought me a Tide to Go stain remover pen.  I get a stain on my shirt like every other day! So as you can imagine this pen helps make my life easier.  It can get frustrating to have to wait till I get home while everyone acknowledges my stain on my brilliant white shirt.  Example: Today I got a big gooey chocolate stain on my white shirt, so with the help of my Tide pen it ceases to exist.  This is a miracle in a pen, literally.

This little miracle stain remover pen made me think about the “sin stain” remover pen God gave to us through His son. This pen He gave us is powered by the sacrifice of His son made on the cross.  This pen doesn’t ever run dry; it’s everlasting and free of charge.  This little pen is God’s love for us.  God sees us through His son as spotless, sin free.  So don’t let the devil condemn you for what was finished on the cross over 2000 years ago.

As far as the east is from the west,
   so far has he removed our transgressions from us” Psalms 103:12

“You will again have compassion on us;
   you will tread our sins underfoot
   and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.”  Micah 7:19

Don’t leave home without the your “sin stain” removal pen, carry the love of God with you everywhere you go.  You will be a bright shining light that can NOT be hidden.

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.  Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16 (my fav verse)

 So go to Him now and allow Him to help you, and He will equip you with His grace to overcome your sin, and remember “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4
