Thoughts

Just sharing some things that God has been teaching me, hope it encourages someone :) 

Having humility is understanding that I can’t do life alone a single day, each day I need to surrender and humble myself at the foot of the cross….this whole plan He has for my life is not by my power or by my might but by His power, His might, and His will that I’ll be able to conquer every trial I go through.  His strength and His power will equip me to fulfill the purpose that He wants me to. Not to fall to what the world wants me to be…to want more money, to be greedy but I should want to help people and to love people. Out of everyone I’m probably the least qualified to be chosen by God so I’m humbled that God has chosen me  and has an amazing plan for my life, and I pray that I would never forget that it is by His power and by His grace that He has called me to do this, I am nothing and He is everything.

I become prideful when I don’t pray one day cause that means I think that I can face the day without God that I don’t need to humble myself before the cross every morning so I need to understand that every morning I need to come to the foot of the cross and surrender my life and say “God I’m yours I humble myself I can’t go a single day without you”. So one day of not reading and praying and being in His presence is saying I can do this life alone and that’s pride. Find time to meet with Jesus.
