When I was back in Cali I used to listen to KWAVE 107.9 everyday.  My dad always left it on in the house.  One of my favorite speakers is Britt Merrick.  He very recently lost his very young daughter to cancer.  In result of this horrible tragedy he gave a sermon called “When the Sparrow Falls”.  It is an amazing message I highly recommend you watch this video if you are going through a hard time, it gives you a fresh perspective on your situation.

In a nutshell this is what the message is about.  When we are going through difficult times in our life we always tend to ask Why God?  Why me?  Why now?  Why ever?  Pastor Merrick says that instead of pounding on God’s door for answers and being angry and bitter with Him (which is normal, its human nature).  Just simply say to God I trust you and ask you to be with me in this situation.  I don’t know why you are putting me here Lord but I know you are good and you love me more than I can comprehend and I trust you Abba Father.  Give me the strength to go through this.

Keep Pastor Merrick and his family in your prayers, that the love of God would just consume them at this time.
