Good Friday

Where do I begin?  For the believers, we know how significant this day is to us.  How precious the blood that was shed for us.  A holy and perfect God came to such a messed up world. Not only did He live a sinless life, but He showered compassion and love among His people. He healed the sick, opened the eyes of the blind, made the lame walk.  And He still continues to heal, comfort and love His people.

Even though they mocked Him and even when they crucified Him, He said “ Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.” He pressed on toward the cross and there God died for us. Why us?  Because His love for us is too great for our human minds to contain.

I thank you Jesus for your blood that was shed. I love you Lord, and forever my heart is gladly indebted to you. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I pray that you would take some time today and thank Jesus for the cross and the sacrifice made for you and I to have eternal life, and to be with Him forever.

Philippians 2:5-11

5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although He existed in theform of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. 8 Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,10 so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

We will all see Him face to face one day, what will you say?
