Sometimes we can find ourselves underestimating His power. We are all guilty of doing it, which is fine it is human nature but staying in the mentality of truly believing that God has limited power of fixing our circumstance and limited understanding of what we are going through is a dangerous place to be. Jesus has always been and will ALWAYS be an all powerful, holy, awesome GOD! Sure Jesus came 2000 years ago and you could say things were very different 2000 years ago and I completely agree. Although He didn't stay in the grave He is alive and sitting on the right hand of God! He sees everything that has happened, will happen, and is happening on earth. He gets what you are going through and longs for you to come and ask Him for help, He is our provider! He gets the circumstance you are going through and the people you deal with more than you do, so trust Him and He will give you the wisdom to do the right thing. (2 Corinthians 13:3 Christ is not weak when he deals with you; he is powerful among you.)
Don’t buy into the lie that you need to sink down to the worlds standards to be successful, trust Jesus and be obedient to Him make Jesus the center of everything you do and you will live a life more fulfilling than any one who is living under the world’s standards. Living under His standards isn’t easy but His grace is His gift to us to help us to do what we feel is difficult or impossible.
2 Corinthians 12:8-9
Because of the extravagance of those revelations, and so I wouldn’t get a big head, I was given the gift of a handicap to keep me in constant touch with my limitations. Satan’s angel did his best to get me down; what he in fact did was push me to my knees. No danger then of walking around high and mighty! At first I didn’t think of it as a gift, and begged God to remove it. Three times I did that, and then he told me,
“My grace is enough; it’s all you need. My strength comes into its own in your weakness.”
Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ’s strength moving in on my weakness. Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size—abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become.
No matter what you are going through, it is never impossible to live for Jesus with HIS GRACE.
Take a look outside today and see God’s majesty in His creation! Maybe that will help us to understand a glimpse of His greatness.
