A Mighty God

Psalms 125:1-2Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which can not be shaken but endures forever.  As the mountains surround Jerusalem so the Lord surrounds His people both now and forevermore.Mount Zion is a very highly estemeed Mountian to the Jewsih people.  It is where Moses recieved the 10 commandments, if you have read the old testament Mount Zion is reffered to alot.  What God is saying in Psalms 125 is that those who trust in God are like this mighty mountain, because there is no one else better to trust in than in God.  Also that God protects us and had our back through everything the good, bad, and the ugly.  It says that He has had our back in the past, now, and forevermore.  This is a simple verse but yet so powerful to know that the God of everything good is taking care of us and we can trust in Him because He has got a plan for out lives! Isn’t He just amazing?
